DEPREZ ACTIVITY SHELTER (1996)

 

Albert J. Deprez was a Scouter from Wilmington, MA. He served as an assitant Scoutmaster in Troop 62. He also served in many scouting positions including, roundtable commissoner, Training Chairman and Associate Adviser to Wannalancit Lodge #451. He held the Silver Beaver and was a Vigil Honor member. (Hinhan-The Owl)

 

 

Al was very dedicated to many causes that involved handicapped children. He was an early leader in making Wah-Tut-Ca accessible to those with disabilities. The Deprez shelter was first used as the center for the second Camp So-Kee-Tay a program for Webelos Scouts. The building is now used for storage.
