BLODGETTS ISLAND

A view of the Island that few see. Blodgetts Island was never owned by Wah-Tut-Ca, yet it stands out as a feature for all who gaze towards the lake from the camp shore. It has been owned by a family from Chelmsford MA since before the days of WTCSR. Wah-Tut-Ca was indeed found by a man who lived in Greater Lowell. Norman P. Mason was a Council Commissioner who had a summer home on Northwood Lake. He was the one who first suggested the Greater Lowell Council purchase the land that became Wah-Tut-Ca. |
