KEMO LODGE 1946

Kemo Lodge was the headquarters for the 1st middler camp, Camp Kemosabee.  This building is a replacement of the orginial Kemo Lodge, shown here from 1940, that was moved from Camp Chadwick in 1937.  It was one of three buildings built in 1946 with Wah-Tut-Ca's first grant from the George W. Magee Foundation.  Lambert Lodge, Wannalancit Lodge and Kemo Lodge all share the same design and have been modified over the years
