CUB OVERNIGHT WEEKEND (COW)

COWs are a two day, one night experiences for all Cub Scouts going into grades 2-5 held at Lone Tree Scout Reservation in Kingston, NH.  Choose from two weekends held in July and August or attend both for double the fun. Camp starts at 9 on Saturday morning and finishes before lunch on Sunday.

A parent and son adventure! COW is a great opportunity to try out overnight camping at Lone Tree Scout Reservation and for a parent and son to share a special experience together. COW takes advantage of the all of the facilities at Lone Tree, including Country Pond for fishing and swimming, as well as the shooting sports ranges. Campers will stay in tents on Saturday night and all meals are provided in the Lone Tree Dining Hall. Since it’s only a weekend program, many boys will leave wanting more, so be prepared to sign them up for a week of day camp at Lone Tree or a session of So-Kee-Tay if they’re Webelos.
During the week, all COW campers with take part in:

  • Nature
  • Archery
  • BBs
  • Crafts
  • Scout Skills
  • Sports
  • Swimming
  • Fishing
  • A Scout campfire

Additional info:

  • Each Cub Scout and his parent/guardian will receive a camp T-shirt to be used as a camp uniform.
  • An up-to-date medical form is required for all boys. A photocopy of both sides of your son's medical insurance card must be brought to camp.
